Veratag is commercializing a new type of security technology that is simple, cost effective and highly secure for use in RFID, lock and key, and other applications for identification, authentication, and anti-counterfeiting.  The product offering is based on a MEMS-based chip that possesses a unique unclonable “voiceprint” or spectral signature that can be incorporated into all manner of electronic devices, as well as RFID-like tags that can be applied to goods that are vulnerable to counterfeiting.  These unique and unclonable nanoscale devices, called MEMflakes™, change the cost-benefit equation for many security applications.
